When you have a question directed at one person, PM is probably a better place to send it.
My point is this. It isn’t a free for all. We are all here because of a common interest. The forum isn’t named "Post anything" fpr a reason. It is a forum for blenders, vendors, ex blenders, MJ enthusiasts and related chat–I assume you found the forum because you were interested in some of those subjects. Maybe we all post goofy things or jokes or whatever, but that shouldnt be the sole reason for being here. It is obvious who does this and posers are quickly identified and usually set straight or weeded out. It is natural selection on the internet.
Posting unrelated crrap for the hell of it wastes the time of peeps intersted in the subject of the forum. Also posting an emoticon after every entry is frivoulous and demonstrates a complete lack of respect for the other members of the group. The all caps issue is frustrating.
Initially, my concerns were about the format issues from one or two group members, but some people arrogantly refuse to bow to convention or netiquitte courtesy. Everyone else on this group and almost every other group, forum, blog, BBS, and support net understands and complies with these courtesy conventions. It is not too much to ask. I dare say repeat offenders would be tossed off most forums, it is by the grace of admins being nice or the rest of the group being polite that has allowed this to go on as long as it has. I am really a patient person, but I am slso unwilling to be steamrollered.
Although the admins on Spiced have a stated policy of not reading everyone’s PMs, the fact of the matter is all PMs can be read by the administration. They will note the number of hate pms I got over this issue is small (but nasty) compared to the private messages I receive in support of my effort to ask everyone to play nicely. If you ever think I am unfairly picking on you or being obtuse, please PM me or tell an admin so they can yell at me. And they will. They already have. I’m not involved in an online popularity contest; people who know me in person think I’m ok and that’s good enough for me, but I gotta tell you, I am just like ithis in real life. A peacenik who doesnt put up with a lot of shit.
So please, all, it is not a lot to ask and not at all unreasonable. Act like an adult, play by the rules, look out for one another and let’s get back to the love. The big news is LHS has good stuff now, Hatter is coming out with his breakthrough line and Pebz is making a comeback. There are lots of unreasonable and probaly illegal crackdowns on blendage and MJ right now. There are new blend and substance innovations in the works. Good reviews to read. Lots of new faces with fresh ideas and opiinions.

This is completely fact-less and untrue. All logging is off here. That means no one is being tracked or spied on. I made this promise on day one and it will always be that way.
The forum is optimized 4 times a day. This means all cache is constantly being wiped. That is why the pages load so damn fast here!
I have engineered this place to be as safe and fast as possible in my budget range. It is constantly being tuned and monitored for spam.
If you notice, unlike tgl, we have all legit members. No spam bots at all. They had 3000 plus members of which about 4-500 where actual people over the entire span of their history.ngsl, if you want to see Spiced evolve into some kind of purely informational site with a bunch of scholars using proper grammer and quoting sources, you are not in the right place.
Everyone here is welcome to say any damn thing they want as long as it does not flame or threaten another member and it does not have some kind of hidden agenda.
We do not have a set of rules and we never will. Instead we have a community of people that do not need constant policing. Our different opinions, styles and personalities is what keeps Spiced interesting.
If anyone feels this direction is the wrong one to take, I suggest finding alternative online entertainment.

I think we should let people type how they want, start whatever topics they feel interested in and just freely express themselves anyway they want as long as it is not hurting or causing harm to others.
