Ok so truthfully this thread idea came from an old paintball board, the idea is instead of posting a new topic, you can go to the gdt ( general discussion thread) basically this thread has no set topic. Post whatever you want, like for instance. I saw a news artical a how long John silvers has the most unhealthy meal in the U.S.. Now we may talk about that for a while, just whatever is on your mind. The idea is to see how many pages we can get too before it gets full, then the last poster of the V1 thread makes v2 and put something funny in the header if you want.

Ok my contribution: My granddaughter was born @10:47 am today. 7#15oz and 21 inches long. Almost an hour later and I’m still pacing in the frigging wait room. Waiting for someone to let me know it’s time to go back and see baby Aleera. >:(

Ok my contribution: My granddaughter was born @10:47 am today. 7#15oz and 21 inches long. Almost an hour later and I’m still pacing in the frigging wait room. Waiting for someone to let me know it’s time to go back and see baby Aleera. >:(

Thanks everyone. Aleera is my first granddaughter and my son’s first child. His girlfriend has a 7 year old son that has been looking up to him as a father figure for some time (the real dad walked out right after he was born). My son is 25 and just started his first ever full-time job. He came out almost in tears after the delivery and told me that starting today it is time for him to grow up and act responsible. I’m pretty proud of him. I got up at four this morning to go to the hospital and I think the bags under my eyes have bags of their own. Gonna snooze for a bit…probably chat with y’all in a few.
