[#6585]

So I just found out that dumpster diving in a gamestop dumpster can be profitable:

I got both of these game cases for FREE lol I made 20+ $ just for getting a little dirty. All I gotta do is disinfect the case before sending it.

All the junkies can now earn a large rock everytime they dive!  :cokesniff

Yeah, gotta take advantage of the collector’s market when you can.  Wish I would have traded in my vintage Star Wars shit back before the economy tanked.  Pokemon, anything anime related, and any signs tend to sell well.  I know a guy who sold one of those cool Call of Duty banners for preordering for a hundred a couple of days after game launch.  It all depends on how cool you are with the staff really.  The real prize is knowing someone who works there, but free access to their dumpster is like the golden key.

Cool Gamestop and Walmart right beside each other here one stop shop Lol.

The trick to being a good stalker is always having weed.

If they catch you stalking just say "wanna smoke some weed?",

If they say "no"… fuck em.

You don’t need that kinda negativity in your life.

no prob bro!
look for the garbage bags that have gamestop logos or game merchandise; usually the gamestop puts their garbage with other stores’ trash. If you can, bring the whole garbage bag with you so you can go home and take your time looking through it.

If you have a little game knowledge you’ll know what kind of things are worth money. Pokemon cases (and manuals) , for example, are highly sought after and thus can make you a decent amount of money.

oh yeah, and don’t get caught or they could think you are an identity thief or something lol so be careful and be sure no one is watching.

I have a friend who loves to dumpster dive,
Most of what he has in his house he has found in the alley,
over the past 15 years. It’s a rag-tag motley collection of former
trash & tv/stereo equipment, even bar lights & neon signs. He added
a patio onto the house, all the glass windows were found in the dumpster
behind a glass repair shop. Lotsa o dual pane glass windows with one side
busted. Like I tell everyone, if Dave trys to give ya a gift, it came from the trash…
BTW I have never seen Dave actually disinfect any of his treasures

If you can, lotsa folks are buying ammo at crap-mart & re-selling it on backpage, in the sporting goods section.
It’s getting tougher, but a good living can be had re-selling ammo for double what you pay for it.
Some areas this cannot be done legally I would suppose tho, if you go onto the backpage in your area
(or mebbe even craigs list) & check the sporting goods section it will be instantly obvious if others are doing this.

I like the idea but if someone were to do that they would have to accept the fact that some of their customers are only buying ammo online so they won’t have to go to a store and have the sales record/face on camera (to commit a crime).
Thanks for the idea though, I think I’ll look into that

Unfortunately if the figures were even available my guess is you would find
that there have been Zero arrests to date because the person on camera
is very rarely the person who commits the crime. Most criminals steal the gun
and the ammo they committed there crime with. This info was gleaned from asking
many thousands of inmates.
  The Actual reason why folks are willing to pay exhorbitant prices for ammo is this;
Everywhere that sells ammo at a reasonable rate has a limit, most places will limit you
to 3 boxes. These folks are paying You extra money accause You have nothing better
to do all frickin day long, but drive to these lower-cost ammo sales and continually buy
up the 3 boxes you are allowed. There are 3 shifts, that allows you to make at least 2
purchases at each store (mebbe) each day. Now you can double,  or triple the amount
you paid(depending on the current prices on backpage).

I Honestly hope that nobody really thinks that a violent, homicidal, gun wielding
Criminal is gonna take the time to drive to a store & politely wait in a line to purchase
the ammo he needs for the gun he just broke into someone’s vehicle, home, or business
to steal?? Trust me folks, he will simply take the box of ammo that is near the gun. If the
owner didn’t leave a box of ammo, Mr Criminal will steal some more until he finds some. This
is why All the background checks in the world will only have the end result of causing 99%
of the gun purchasers an extra few moments (or longer) of hassle. A hardened
murderer doesn’t have any qualms against simply stealing what was a legally owned gun
from the guy who did pass the background check.
