Was wondering what’s the most up to date info on this is. Not that I’m particularly worried ; I’ve passed just about every drug test there is over the last 2 years while using spice on an almost daily basis. Instant urine, lab urine, saliva, sweat patch, hair follicle you name it. Yeah my PO had it out for me but the cocksucker never could stick it to me  :weinerwiggle:  anyway 6 months off probation and I still can’t touch the droskie due to drug tests for my job. I know there’s gotta be round the clock research going on to one day nail us with a positive test. Anyone know if these labs are gaining any ground yet?

As I understand it, so long as the chems are recent & legal, there isn’t a test for them, outside of an actual lab
I know somebody will chime in to let me know if I’m wrong Betcha Ngls knows all about it

I have heard that the only ones they can test for is 018, 073 and HU210. so everything gen 3 and beyond should be safe…

I dont know how many other states use this place, but i know for a fact if my state wants to test you for this, they send it to redwood labs. On their website they say they can detect 19 different noids, but it does not say which.

There are 4 basic (arguably 6) backbones for the JWH series of sprinkles plus the AM series, the CP and HU series.  It is not hard to test for all of these of these backbones magic sprinkles, because all you need to test for is the metabolites of these–your body breaks them down the same way along the same metabolic pathway.  If you have a urine test, you may test positive for these sprinkles, even though you have not even seen any of these in years because the newer generations are a variant of one of these basic backbones, with some termination on the molecule changed to make it a "non-regulated" variant..  The urine test is far less specific than other tests–you can absolutely test positive for chems you actually did not take.  If you are not actually stoned on blends when the testing is done chances are good the test will be negative, though.

The saliva test is an actual chromatograph run and looks for the un-metabolized actual chemical, so these tests are more specific.  In theory, as long as one had a standard and knew what to look for, any particular magic sprinkle could be sought after and identified, and in theory one could test to parts per billion.  In reality, unless one is really being a hard ass, an employer or agency really isn’t going to spend the money for this kind of testing–it costs money and time.  The government and big business has this kind of time and money to waste, however.  Keep that in mind.

Another good point with magic sprinkles–the sprinkles themselves are not generally water soluble, the metabolites are water soluble, and the half life of sprinkles is relatively short in one’s body.  What this means is after 24 hours not a lot of any sprinkle metabolite is left in one’s body and the longer the time that passes after exposure, the detectable metabolites in urine or serum dwindle away quickly.  So, if you ever do test positive, always deny and demand a retest– by that time (assuming you haven’t been re-exposed) your sprinkle metabolites should have all but disappeared.  With MJ and MJ metabolites you can test positive for weeks and a heavy user can test positive for a month.  Not only that, MJ metabolites can be found in hair and tissue samples for months.

That being said, if someone really has it in for you, a lot of government and law enforcement agencies have unlimited money and will press the point forever until something is found.  I’m not going to get into the legality of MJ-agent terminology or who’s interpretation of the law you choose to follow, I’m just saying if whomever is really looking hard to find evidence of a magic sprinkle on you, it really doesn’t matter if you were using a currently "technically not illegal" chem or not.  The same seems to apply with possession of blendage–if you are found to be in possession of blendage, the authorities will likely test it and will find all kinds of regulated chemicals–they will probably find jwh-018 in a dandelion you had stuck in your shoe.  So, as for the testing, the best advice is plan ahead–don’t do blends a week or two before your testing.  If you know you are being singled out for random testing, maybe you shouldn’t be doing the drug they are testing for.  Will blends show up in a regular 5 or 7 panel drug screen?  No.  Will they find blend use if they are really looking hard for them?  More likely but legitimate testing will probably not find it if you are not currently ripped when the tests are done. Will the man find banned sprinkles in the dried thyme you just bought at the farmers market?  If the man wants to find illegal drugs on you, he will.

The best advice is don’t do drugs if you are being tested for them and your job or probation or situation is dependent on that test being clean.  There are actually some good reasons some jobs need you to be clean, for example critical public service jobs, the military where other people are depending on you or where reaction time is relevant.  If you are in a position where you need to be clean and for whatever reason cannot stay clean, it might just be easier and safer to get a new career path rather than attempt to evade detection.  If you are on probation or parole, maybe you should just stay clean until it is over.  Obviously some drug testing is insane and unwarranted, but then again, you have to ask yourself about your motivations and maybe take a look at the big picture about drug use and how it fits into that.

Make good choices.  I am all for unlimited and unrestricted access to all drugs, but I don’t want to see anyone get into trouble over recreational drug use either.

Interesting, I did not know that. The VA has started testing us for em but only the first gen stuff. That was what I was going on. Guess it wont be long till Uncle Sam starts throwing the testing net further out there..

thank God I am retired and don’t have to do regular tests anymore…Those first few months Back in the Spiceworld420 days I was scared shitless PlanetX was Gonna get Me Thrown in the Stockade..
