I know what your thinking and NO I would never take these seeds but my idiot cousin is focused on doing them since he got ahold of some seeds. :/ He is really serious on it too so I will have to be there when he does since I don’t want anything to happen to him. I’m just asking what to expect and tips to what I could do if he freaks out. Would the hospital be a good idea or just let the "trip" end? I don’t know why he would want to experience this…
I have no idea how much is needed. Tried talking it off but hes being stubburn. Should probabley tell his mom but he’s old enough to make his decisons. Just don’t want anything bad to happen. Heard BAD stories about this plant.

What’s the deal with datura?
With datura, there’s no way to know what a safe dose is. Different parts of the same plant will contain different levels of atropine and scopolamine, the chemicals that make you delirious. Sometimes eating a whole pod of seeds may not be enough, and other times a few seeds or one flower could be enough to send you into cardiac arrest. Explain to your cousin that he won’t get high or trip off of datura; he’ll just get delirious, hallucinate things that he can’t tell are real or not, won’t be able to urinate, will be constantly thirsty, feel like he’s burning up because of hyperthermia, be very confused, and may suffer heart problems (crazy, irregular heart beat) and dehydration. He also will have major problems with his vision (blurry vision, near blindness) that could end up lasting for a week or more after the effects wear off. Essentially you’d be taking a big chance by not taking your cousin to a hospital to be monitored if he takes the stuff.
Maybe if you tell him that you’ll most definitely call an ambulance and have his ass hauled to the ER if he takes it that might make him think twice. Just be sure he can’t get away from you or outrun you and try to be stupid enough to do it without you there to watch him. Due to the difficulty that people have urinating on datura I can nearly guarantee they’d shove a catheter up his dick. If your cousin takes datura I really strongly encourage you to make sure he gets medical attention to ensure that he doesn’t die. Risk of death is a real thing with datura. I hope he wises up and doesn’t try this stuff.
