This is the standard, inexpensive clearomizer tank that most everyone is familiar with if they use an eGo type e-cig battery:

If you buy a starter kit, this is the type that your battery will come with. Usually they include one or two. You can get these on the cheap. If you ever go buy one, make sure it fits your eGo, especially if you go to a smoke shop. Bring your battery with you to make sure. There are some great vape shops around that know their shit and know what to sell you. There are some others that don’t. I have been sold the wrong threaded clearomizer tank, having been assured that it would fit my battery. This was at a place that is mainly a head shop, so they don’t really specialize. They’re more concerned about selling you e-juice. At the dedicated vape shops around here they know their stuff. So either bring your battery with you or buy online to make sure you get the right thing.
There are some drawbacks with this type of tank. The wicks only last so long before they funk out. Eventually they will start burn and taint your e-juice. You’ll start to notice an overpowering dry cottony/fiber smell. When this has happened to me the e-juice also turns dark nasty brown. You can buy replacement parts for your tanks and rebuild them yourself, or you can just get another cheap clearomizer. Either way you’ll be buying more parts or more tanks more often.
This is what I recently upgraded to:

This style of clearomizer lasts much, much longer, and is reusable for quite a long time. If anything you may just need to replace the bottom coil which screws out. These guys fill from the bottom, so they’re a bit different. They don’t really have the wicks. The intake for the e-juice is always submerged, at the bottom, so you get a smooth constant vape and nice clouds. You can also match the color of the casing to your battery and it has the same smooth rubberized grip as your battery. Keep in mind that these are rated at different ohms, so you need to make sure you get the right type for your battery. Online, they make it very clear which one is for which type of battery line. You can even get ones that hold larger amounts of juice to make it more convenient to vape on the go without bringing extra juice with you. Oh, and you don’t even need to let the juice sit for a bit to let the wicks soak it up before you can vape. Just load and vape away.
This type of tank also works wonderfully with the JMX juice. I feel I get a better vape quality out of it no matter what kind of juice I’m using, though.
This is the site I’ve been using lately: http://www.vapingme.com/
They’re big into Reddit.com and advertise there, so if you use the code "REDDIT" at checkout you can get 12% off your first order. Pretty sure that code should still work, but their prices are good. Of course, be a smart shopper and try to look for better deals and other vendors, too. If you have a good vape shop that knows their stuff in the area you probably want to support them, though.
I am always up for chatting online with some new and interesting people. I don’t really PM too many people here much. If you see this and you’re interested in chatting or are bored and such. Please hit me up. I LOVE conversation.
