Reminded me of the seven years I saw alzheimers take my mother’s memory and dignity. It takes a lot of patience.

My grandma progressed from alzheimers to dementia before she died. Her memory loss was insanely fast in retrospect, it’s a horrible thing for patients suffering it, and the entire family suffers along with them 🙁
Seth Rogan recently met with congress to discuss better understanding/better funding for Alzheimers, which his mom in-law has suffered with for years.
He was greeted with a room full of mostly empty seats as the committee showed him just how little they actually care. Only two of the ruling class were
able to find the time to pretend they give a damn

My grandma is suffering from memory-loss, although the doctor we spoke to said it looked like she was having mini-strokes, not Alzheimers. It’s sad to see her mind go though. I can empathize with anyone who knows someone with memory problems 🙁 my heart goes out to them
