I have been trying to successfully make an RSO vape cartridge so someone in acute pain doesn't have to wait 2-4 hours for their medicine to work. Pain is bad enough and having to wait several hours for relief makes it that much worse.
One of the challenges is good RSO is thicker than maple syrup. Because of its full-spectrum properties, RSO has too much natural plant waxes, lipids, and chlorophyll
to be a good experience in vape form, let alone bad for anyone's lungs because it would be like vaping used motor oil. Not so good for people with compromised immune systems or anyone really.
I have come up with a solution while I was doing research on making extracts under full vacuum for purity. What I found while doing this is way to take good quality existing RSO, re-winterize it with 200proof food-grade ethanol and filter it under full vacuum at -40°F.
What this does is get rid of all the unwanted naturally occurring "plant goo". How's that for a scientific term? The oil that is left is a dark amber very pure oil that is still full of concentrated natural terpenes and over 112 different cannabinoids including Delta 10 THC which is important for fast onset acute pain.
The end result is a Vape Cartridge that gives you almost instant pain relief but at the strength of ingested RSO at its peak, and in under 5 minutes!! 1-3 modest puffs handles almost any pain, anxiety or insomnia issues.
