Hi all. Quick background: As a dad with two kids my video game time is limited, therefore I’m still playing through my 360 library (currently Borderlands the Pre-Sequel and Spec. Ops: The Line). Therefore I haven’t had any need to pay much attention to the current gen consoles…at least until now that Fallout 4 is on its way. I’ve already started my savings jar for either a PS4 or an Xbone, but I’m searching for input about which would be a better buy. I’ve never been interested in online multiplayer, backwards compatibility (especially when you have to pay for subscriptions to do so) or downloading games from Xbox Live or PSN. Really the only upcoming games that have my attention are Fallout 4, Star Wars Battlefront, Mass Effect Andromeda, and Rainbow Six Siege, and I’d definitely like to check out GTAV on a current console and maybe The Last of Us if I end up with a PS4. Right now I’m just planning on going with whichever one would be cheaper (either used or new after adding up :asshat: all the Amazon gift cards that my parents and in-laws always get me for my bday and Christmas) but I’m hoping to get some deeper input about what everyone thinks about these consoles. Thanks!!!
