I’m a huge fan of Nintendo’s Metroid series. Anyway, if you run PC (sorry, no Linux or OSX support) you can download this awesome small free game called "Metroid: Confrontation".

It’s very similar to the style of the Game Boy Advance game, the original Metroid remake "Metroid: Zero Mission".
