Anyone besides me and tibs got the game? Btw tibs where you at in it?

If yall have played Dark Souls 1 or Demon Souls, I’d say its a mix of both games. DS1 had almost an entirely ‘open’ environment, you could play 85% of the game without encountering a load screen (assuming you don’t die of course, then it re-loads). Demon Souls had levels that you entered with different environments. Dark Souls 2 combines the best of both worlds by having lots of open areas you can explore, along with a LOT more overall environments due to teleports to different levels. Anyways I’m about 50 hours into the game and I still got plenty to go.

THe best part is when you beat it, you can use the bonfire in the opening segment to start a New Game+, which increases the difficulty of all enemies and bosses, adds some new drops to these bosses, new invasion encounters and enemy locations, while retaining a lot of your items from the previous New Game (including your level and stats). Apparently NG+ is where it really opens up, there are a lot of pvp encounters, where a player invades your world and tries to kill you, and co op summoning, where you can summon other players to help tackle a tough level or boss. I really love this series and I wish Demon Souls wasn’t a Playstation exclusive or else I would’ve played that as well. So much bang for your buck.
