I know LHG has vendors that sponsor their site by donating to them. When a vender sponsors the forum they then get the "sponsored vender" label in their username instead of just "trusted vendor" or "new vendor". Maybe we could add other bonuses to sponsoring vendors too; let me know if you have any ideas for extra incentives.
I’m not sure if this is a good idea or not or if it would work but I thought I’d bring it up as an idea. I’m guessing someone has to pay for this forum and this could make it more manageable. What does everyone else think?

A sponsored vendor should:
-be an active member of the site with at least 50 posts
-not be on our ripoff vendor list
-send out at least 10 samples and have 10 verifications from members of this site
-answer questions and orders from members in 3 days or less
-be respectful and semi-professional
Those are my ideas so far. In the end the admin would be the one to decide whether this is a plausible idea or not. I’d like to hear admin’s thoughts as well
For sure the hatter qualifies and I’d say the dude does too (except he isn’t active here). I don’t know how much it costs to run the forum so the admin would have to work out the details about this idea further

This is true, we really only have twp vendors actively selling on here. If we do get more vendors we’ll have the idea already ready to go and the details ironed out though 😛

Donating members get a tag by their user name that says "donating member" and some give you a little gold star or some shit by your name.
You can do a simple Paypal link.

Might as well have dif status levels too then, like bronze, silver & gold. Bronze is like $25/yr, silver $50 & gold can be $100
Then ya don’t need to sell vendor support & the forums can reflect in actuality just how poor or fantastic a vendor’s wares really are.
So what would be in it for the users to WANT to get certain stars or levels? Other than helping keep the website going, what would make a silver member different than a gold other than how much money they put out? Know what I mean, should be some level "unlocks" or something like that so if you’re a gold member, you have more access to things or something along those lines, I really hate the "hidden" topics for only certain members in ranks but something should be put up as an incentive to get more members to help out@!

One of the things I disliked about TGL was the proliferation of blendmakers whose formulas
were too weak to do much for me or my friends. I would love to see a forum where truthful reviews
take place, and just cause a guy get’s a free sample doesn’t mean that blend is automatically Great.
Well as far as special privelidges go I know I have offered up to $200 in the past to ban someone who really wants it bad :-*
