So im a big tv buff and movie buff if you didn’t already know (im new here so thats like none of you lol), but im involved with video production. So I created this topic for people to come and tell me there likes and dislikes about movies, shows, shorts, silents, black-and-white ant races (loved these as kid, used to sit real close) haha anything your heart desires that deals with some sort of video production. PLease do not confuse me with audio (although ill debate music with ya too, but lets stick to video on this haha). So, yeah, come bitch at me about that shitty fucking episode of Reno 911 ( totally off the top of my head, not sure its still running, but loved the first few seasons, after that, fucking trash!) you saw last night or come tell me about this movie no ones ever heard of that dug up in your back yard and decided to put it in the VCR just to see if the damn thing still works. Or maybe you didnt know what it did, (video tapes are fucking old now lol so r vcrs) BUt anyways, back to the point, this is your video ground guys. I love to talk video, good and bad, and its not like politics where ill be holding a knife to ur throat when im getting my point across, but its fun and very interesting to me to pick other’s brain’s interests (although that sounded fucking terrible, its actually grammatically correct, i challenge an English major to correct my forum! Yea, I saw that recently on YT under some suggestions to watch, funny stuff.
I’ll start it off with favorite shows of all time, I don’t think I touched on that the other night.
Have a hard time finding great TV shows that are currently airing, especially dramas but I’ll tell ya what ones have my interest. Obviously I don’t have to mention Breaking Bad, you already know that just by looking at my name.
Justified, Walking Dead, The Following are three that I check out on the regular, all are on hiatus right now though. Following isn’t a great show, but I’m a sucker for serial killer stuff, it has some lame moments and sloppy writing but I still am around for the train wreck. Justified is great TV, a must see if you haven’t checked it out, the seasons keep getting better and better, and that’s something I can’t say about most shows, it usually goes the other way, more seasons = worse quality. Walking Dead is awesome as well, I think it peaked in Season 2 though, although I’m still enjoying all the episodes.
One of all my time favorite shows was Prison Break. I loved the characters, so many crazy diverse characters on that show, it just sucked you right in, plus the acting was top notch and the story was gripping.
Arrested Development is good as well, I’ve only seen Season 1 though, I’m slowly watching those on Netflix over the last few months.
I like all genres, will give most a shot…. prefer a drama or a horror film usually though but I love them all.

arrested developoment season 4 started off slow.. episodes were too long… but but about halfway through all the plot pieces become interwoven and it becomes much better. The Gob and Tobias episodes are hilarious!!
anyway to me Arrested Development season 1-3 are rated 10/10
and so I will give season 4 an 8.0/10
Yeah, one thing, I didn’t like, is where they took Michael’s character and the whole him relying on his son. It was just weird cuz he was the only one in the family that had is shit together besides his inability to re-commit to another women, but yeah I just didn’t really like that direction, although Bateman killed it anyway HAHA!
IDK if id say early episodes were long, but some were def hard to watch and felt very long and drawn out. One character I did like was Lindsay’s new love interest, the hippie, he was pretty funny. I especially like the comment he makes about golf courses and taking up good farming soil lmao! And i’ll prob have to agree with you on those 2 episodes being sum of the best. I did like surprisingly Buster’s episode, because in the past, he really started to annoy more than make me laugh, but I did laugh a lot at some of the things he did, living alone.
Yes 10/10 S1-3
I gave the season a bit higher of a score then you just because I thought they did a fantastic job with shooting around everyone’s schedules and actually having a pretty interesting plot structure. I also like how they left it open ended for the movie, or another season if they would decide to go that root instead. Ill leave my score a mystery for a while though,just to see what others rate it.

I love cereal, how could you not like cereal LOL! I love the one where he pulls his sweatshirt up, I fucking lose it everytime.
Yeah, shows are hard to come by these days. Love most of the stuff on AMC (BB,WD,TK) I actually don’t watch HoW or MM and I fucking hate Small Town Security, not funny at all. The Following, I found to be a decent show, but very repetitive, and the characters were way too stupid. I also believe that if they didn’t have star Kevin Bacon as the lead, then it might have not got as many views. I found that to be kind of a dirty trick on the their side. Justified i have seen , but just never followed. It’s not bad, I got a bit bored in parts, but I was also joining in in the middle of a season, so, had no clue what was really going on. HAHA
Don’t get me started on walking dead. They’re running out of ideas, because everyone’s heads are in the same place. And once again, characters are way too dumb. But,I love the shows first 2 seasons, watch the show religiously, liked the 3rd, not loved, was very let down by the finale. Fucking terrible! Just a big fucking tease tht whole second half was. I’ll stick to the comics, they can get away with a lot more in those, than on national television.
Yes, Prison Break, I loved and still re-watch. I did not like the movie, and did not really like most of season 3 or 4. I think, they should of, some how, wrapped up after that 2nd season. It just got way too far fetched, the further they got. But, I still love that shit. :postwhore:
