If you want to have a decent way to duct some unwanted air away from a grow space and cannot have a 4" hose and cut a huge hole in some wall or ceiling consider using plastic electrical conduit a.k.a. wiremold and many other brand names. You can easily reduce your 4 " to a 2" then make a homemade manifold to adapt to the stealth duct work to get that air out of that space in secret. Easily Cut it to any length needed, get 90°, and 45° degree adapters too

A good tip I can provide as far as stealth goes is how to bring those 4’x4′ grow trays into your house without the neighbors knowing what they are.

I put a queen-sized mattress sheet over each side, and then it looks just like a bed or boxspring. Now you can carry them in right under there noses, in broad daylight.

You can keep LEDs close they put out virtually no heat and the life span from the LEDs is a amazing, they are still very pricey compared to other forms of low energy lighting. I still like CFLs for the cost of the bulb and operation costs. Team it with a 100-200watt HPS lamp, you are in business, good yields, lost cost to operate and not alot of heat issues to deal with.

Yeah, my fist grow was with CFL’s and 4 Home Depot, rigged 300w HPS…

I actually was able to crossbreed some Great White Shark and Afghani #1 with that setup… No ventilation, bad mistake.. My entire house, ENTIRE, wreaked of SKUNK for three-four months…

I even had a constable come out one day, had a loud Mustang and would stir up shit, they were always after my car…

Some cheap carbon would have made a world of difference… It was my second or third grow, at merely seventeen-eighteen years old…

My hobby and pastime has been stunted due to growing families and state regulations… Damn shame, my ancestry actually leads back to breeders and growers of legal variations..

Here is a link to a really cheap DIY carbon filter, I built one just like this for my cabinet grow. It had 6-8 plants in there and it worked great. Changed the carbon at the end of grow season.

I used to get my seeds through them, they were basically a middle man for all the big names like, Dutch Passion and all the other countless seed banks..

Sometimes they would send me some BS, they would come in vegetable seed bags, I remember I got my Afghan out of a Radish seed bag, lol…

Planning, planning, planning.  And don’t tell anyone, ANYONE, until after you are finished and have sanitized the grow.

Some more simple stealth grow tips:

Keep your neighbors happy… keep your lawn trimmed, bring your garbage cans in on time, don’t play loud music after 10pm and so on.

Don’t have loud parties or a bunch of dreadlocked hippies staying in a camper-van in your driveway.

If you have dogs make sure they don’t bark all day when your away from the house.

Make sure you can’t hear any fans outside your house. Feel your outside walls for any vibrations. Go outside at night and look for light leaks. All three are things that cops & rippers (thieves) look for.

First, the mantra: “No smell, no sell, no tell.”

There are a lot of ways to keep you and your grow safe, but this is the heart of it all.
No smell – No one should be able to smell your grow or smell cannabis on you. This makes you an easy target for police and marijuana haters!
No sell – Statistically, people who are growing strictly for personal use deal with far less legal troubles than people who sell their cannabis. This even applies in places like Colorado where it’s legal within the state!
Loose Lips Might Sink Ships!No tell – Having fewer people know about your grow reduces the chances of you getting busted by law enforcement or burglarized by thieves. I know it’s hard to not show off your awesome growing skills, but this one secret that needs to stay a secret!
