I seriously went 8 years of progressively heavier drinking till the last two months before I quit I was drinking like four pints a day of 100 proof Tvarsky Vodka..mmm. The Doctor had to check my liver functions before I started the Vivitrol shots, a long-acting formulation of naltrexone .7 more days and I get my one month chip…almost there. Naltrexone, eh? I thought that was for opiates. Stops up the opiate receptors? interesting. Didn’t know they used this for alcohol.

I use to not even be able to drink without pot, My stomach would get way too full way too fast and I’d just get a stomach ache and nausea 

I hear that, I never could drink very effectively as I think alcohol tastes soo bad.
My alcoholic friends tell me you gotta really work at it if you wanna succeed.
A few years ago I decided I needed a new, legal hobby & got a bottle of single malt scotch
I tried & tried but it tasted awful everyway I sampled it. My old crack-whore gf asked if I was done & promptly drained the bottle,
apparently she had some skilz I hadn’t noticed…

pot and blends for me ,  never vodka alone. unless I had no smoke and then I would drink anyway..I did not get sick at all. I just wanted to get as high possible. And until the 27th of last month the entire 8 years before that , except 6 months of extreme running and eating almost nothing but lean protein and lots of veggies and fruits, and drinking lots of water, I fell off the wagon and got snot faced drunk for the entire holiday season..I was a happy warm drunk , but got way too drunk..lol. Pants and underwear off drunk. Not safe with kids around.. :weinerwiggle:

I’ll drink whatever liquor. If it has alcohol it’s good. even if it tastes shit.

Rotten pine trees. I’d never buy the shit with my own money….. but offer me a gin n tonic and I won’t pass it up. LOL

I hate gin so bad, I got so damn sick on a pint of sloe gin when I was a teenager that I have never tried it again. Pine needles make me feel; sick though.
