You can post as an attachment, but the largest allowable file size is 192KB. Other option is BBcodes within the text box.

That link that orthene posted is really good because it’s all the codes that are on this forum.  I have a bookmark of a shit ton of BBcodes, but a lot of them don’t work on here.  It’s nice to have that link with all available codes to be used.

Also, you can embed youtube videos by using 

[youtube][/youtube]

and putting the video ID of the youtube video

Could someone elaborate on how you get the code from a you tube video so that you can post a video… I just can’t figure it out.

Have the YouTube video open in a separate tab. Go back to your Spiced post and find the YouTube icon that’s above the smileys and click on it. This will place a set of brackets in your post. Back to your YouTube page: right-click the address bar and select copy.  Now  back to your post: right-click the space between the brackets and select paste. Use the Post Preview button to make sure your video properly posted, and then post. Hope that helps!

You want the one that copies the page address in its entirety. Which internet browser are you using? I use Chrome most of the time and just plain old copy is one of the choices it gives. I forget that IE and Firefox are a little different, but I am just guessing that copy video URL will be the best choice. I can experiment when I get back to laptop (using phone browser right now).

I have tried every one of the choices and all it does is place the language between the brackets. I have IE browser. I’ll keep trying. Thanks!

At the end of the video’s url, copy the little code and paste it into the brackets.

I would copy and paste "v=0MD6Cx0qzRA" Between the youtube brackets, annnnnd…

White Wizard’s method may work for you depending on your version of Internet Explorer. Since I am using Windows 8 O/S, my internet browser is different from my Vista O/S desktop and things may transfer differently. When I use 8 and this URL: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vr3r6Mdci6c I get this result:

But when I use only the code at the end: v=Vr3r6Mdci6c Here is my result:

Here is how I do it:

On youtube click the share button and you will get a url like this: " http://youtu.be/Ouo7Q6Cf_yc"

to embed the video in a post use this code: {flash=560,315} http://www.youtube.com/v/Ouo7Q6Cf_yc{/flash} just replace the braces { } with brackets [ ] and adjust size as needed

can any one show me how to post a pic in a post for the dudes contest please and thanks in advance 🙂

Where are you going to host the image? when I post an image on this forum I upload it to a server I have access to and then use BB code for images.
