Had a motorcycle wreck today and broke leg in 2 places and girlfriend tore 3 ligaments in shoulder. Im on suboxone maintenance and only have ibuprofen for the pain! Fuk! We are lucky to be alive. I am in a velcro type leg brace that immobilizes my leg a little. Have to see a orthopedic surgeon in little rock sometime after swelling goes down. :'(

Get a pair of helmets, fool! Broken legs can heal, but a split cranium goes nowhere. Sounds like you both lucked out this time.

One of my best buds told me back in the day that the difference between wearing a helmet or not was whether you wanted open or closed casket. Ironically, he died in a cycle accident about ten years ago from severe head trauma; the dr. said the helmet could have saved him. Right or wrong who knows, but you are young enough to have a lot to look forward to.

All of my american bikes are gone. I have a suzuki 750 with around 3k on it and a 1982 suzuki 450A, yes, an AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION with less than 1k. The 450A has a hydraulic torque converter!
