Jack is a hero, the government and church want us to rack up massive bills, spend long times in hospitals in searing pain, all dignity removed,
keeping us alive as long as possible and much longer than we want to be. I remember my wife’s mom died, they cut off circulation to her arms and
legs (so they would die) just to keep her going another week, a travesty. I hope I can off myself before I’m too weak to, I want to die on my terms
not by the church’s terms. Of course I hope it’s many many years away but I keep a gun and pills and stuff handy just in case. Of course I might keel over
and be whisked to the dying machine at a hospital and be powerless to end my life, a nightmare.
