Xbox Live Gold members get Dead Island, Toy Soldiers: Cold War for free in February
Dead Island is free from Feb. 1-15, while Toy Soldiers: Cold War will be free from Feb. 16-28.
PlayStation Plus subscribers in February are Outlast on the PlayStation 4, Payday 2, Metro: Last Light, and Remember Me on PlayStation 3,
and Street Fighter X Tekken and ModNation Racers: Road Trip on the PS Vita.
Dead Island starts off rather easy and shit, but gets good further in. A lot of people dismissed it because it didn’t live up to the expectations set in it’s awesome trailer, but how can you hate a game that has awesome co-op, people freaking out over the shit they’ve seen (yes, the NPCs lose their shit… nice to see some realistic reactions for once), and a build your own weapon system? Think of it as a cross between Dead Rising and Left 4 Dead, with a bit of Fallout 3 mixed in for fun. Yes, it’s a bit buggy in places… but overall well worth downloading at the cost of FREE. Who do you voodoo bitch indeed.

Metro last light is one of the better games ive played in recent years. Id reccommend checking it out to anyone. Im surprised at how high quality the games theyve been offering on PS+ are. Last month was bioshock infinite, couldnt believe they were giving that away for free
Yeah, but the rub of that is that PS+ games expire if you aren’t paying from what I understand. Xbox Live’s free games remain yours even without a gold sub, as long as you were gold when you DLed, or initiated the DL in most people’s cases. Even if you don’t have the space, start up the download, then stop it and erase the data. Game is still yours as it has a record you own it. So PS can afford to give you big titles like that free, knowing you pay for it in the long run through subscription. XBL has some pimp sales tho… Metro and it’s sequel have come up dirt cheap a few times. Definitely worth playing!
Very true, i forget that sometimes. Its more like a rental fee using ps+. Upside is if you cancel your service, but buy service again, you get access to all the games again. But i think for the majority of people, these games are the only incentive to have ps+. Not really too much a point in having it otherwise, you already get free access to the playstation network

Indeed, I couldn’t put it down when I first got it, although that Capra Demon almost had me quitting lol. Main character had like 85 hours, along with several novelty characters to go along with it. HOw far are you into it?
